Action Required.
"Action Required" is an art series that deals with censorship and the political instrumentalization of language. Inspired by a New York Times article from March 2025 about 200 words that got flagged by the Trump administration, the project asks: What happens when language is censored?
A selection of the terms was turned into graffiti stencils, made of acrylic glass in letter format. The work calls for active resistance to censorship and encourages discussion about how art and activism can work together.
The acrylic glass is removable, so the stencils are ready to use.
